For this campaign celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 1, we looked back at what made it so rebellious in its inception. We crafted the visual direction around the revolutionary founding principles of this infamous shoe — defying tradition through innovation, which fueled a cultural shift in sportswear.

Our design system and content, built around the campaign concept “Kiss My Airs,” embodied the bold, unapologetic tone of the Air Max 1 OG. The art direction encapsulates the defiant charm of this iconic shoe through expressive and bold photography featuring a range of notable athletes, singers, influencers, and creators who personified that spirit. Our toolkit informed a range of placements where the campaign came to life in both North America and global markets on ecom, social, retail, and OOH.
