In early 2021, Dockers launched Recognize - a content series that amplified Black stories, employed diverse talent, and invested in organizations that bring more opportunity and resources to Black communities. It was launched as a Black History Month campaign, but continued on as a year long commitment to spotlight the breadth of Black excellence and celebrate Black stories each month. Ultimately we featured twelve passionate individuals working to make real change, and shared their stories on Dockers’ site and social channels with videos, photos, IG Lives, in-feed posts, stories and interview features.
In March, Docker’s Recognized Selema Masekela — an action sports icon, (host from the X Games), media personality, musician and entrepreneur. His commitment to the Black community inspires a more diverse generation of young athletes around the world. Learn more about Selema’s Story here >
Additional Dockers Recognize features: Larry, Maryse, Gage
